I’m not sure what year this is but I do vaguely remember It. When I was a kid the Souvenir Shop was on the other side of the road to this on the corner of Maine Rd and Claremount Rd. That would have been mid to late 1960’s

On that corner in the 60s was a Butcher's.

Silk scarves! Now we're talking! Worn around the wrist, of course. Remember swapping one with a heartbroken Geordie at Wembley 76. I was 11, couldn't understand a word he was saying.

I did too. I was a kid and was a bit fed up to give it up but a nice gesture from the Geordies.
