Where did he say the launch pad wasn’t damaged?

I think he’s a bit optimistic at 1-2 months mind you! As for FAA I think NASA would put pressure in on there as starship is jet to there plans.

I am guessing the 1-2 months estimation will end up being similar to his timeline for Full Self Driving for Tesla vehicles…

The guy has become a parody of himself.

agreed!

With a task like this tho man power does help. SpaceX got the tower built and extra large hanger space built far faster than expected just by lobbing builders at it and having 24/7 shifts working on it.

I still think 1-2 months is rather optimistic but by the same note 6 feels too long. It took them less than 3 to build the whole launch tower in the 1st pace . But repairing around the tower without damaging it could certainly slow it down a little.
