my view is that most of that quarter should/could be in the starting 11

I’m not sure Southgate knows what a half turn is, so Imdont know how you expect him to teach Hendo to take the ball on the half turn and progressively pass through the lines…

Whilst I'm in full agreement with southgates incompetence, Pep doesn't actually like players playing on the half turn, he believes it's quicker and safer to play a pass off square and have the second man play the ball forward than to turn on it themselves.
