Spain v Poland | Euro 2020 Group Stage

Poland aren’t stringing any passes together at all.

They have a stationary finish line, much easier to be pinpoint accurate. they would have to have cameras literally every cm of the pitch to get anything like that technology.

How the fuck didn’t they score then?

COME ON POLAND!

Rodri with the ball, why are you lifting it there making it 10 times harder to control? Had to score that.

Should have scored that too.

Just realised that Ansu Fati was injured. Last time I heard of the lad, he was injured. Wonder if that’s still the case.

Won’t make a difference in the PL. Us= that be offside. Rags= flexible approach and goal stands.
You may be right mate, but I’m (trying to!) view it as a positive development. Big article in The Times this morning that the PL have been really impressed by the ‘lighter touch’ use of Var that is being used in the Euros and want that approach taking in the PL next season. Should mean using a lot less, basically.
But yeah, I’m sure certain teams will get the intervention needed a bit more often.

I also think the refs have been spoken to and allowing a lot more physicality than usual. Nice to see a lot of the usual suspects noy getting free kicks/ penalties for falling over.
