And, as I said in the OP, he has long history of accusations of sexual misconduct going back years which have been largely ignored. And there were (and are) accusations of a toxic environment within the women's camp before the World Cup that he basically ignored, even when many of the players said they wouldn't play unless the coach and many of his staff were removed.

Well I've heard the male genitals referred to as a "Peter" many times before but never known it to be called a" crouch "before!!

And not content with being a total knob on the night, he then disregards her views and doubles down on playing the victim. Not an ounce of remorse or embarrassment. The whole organisation is a mess looking at the number of people applauding his bollocks speech.
 
Between this and the total inaction on racism, the Spanish FA shows itself up repeatedly as a relic of a bygone era. If you’re a woman or black then you’re not actually welcome in their club they just suffer you because they have to. You best just do what they say and not cause a fuss.

I’m shocked (though I shouldn’t be) by the number of people who think his actions are “not that bad”. Just shows you how people are used to treating women like subordinates who should be happy to acquiesce to whatever a man wants. I’m sure the kind of people making that argument would be thrilled to be forcibly kissed by a strange man in front of millions of people.

And totally aside from this particular incident, this Rubiales bloke seems like a complete raging bell end. The kind of person that I would rather pass kidney stones than have to talk to for even 30 seconds.

Spanish football and La Liga leadership is like a Hall of Cunts.

The fact that this was not deemed an immediately sackable offense for Rubiales is a sad indictment of how the Spanish women's team have been treated for a while. They're probably not the only ones either. His press conference was a joke too with even the manager nodding along to his not resigning comments. It's really sad that Hermoso has felt the need to have to come out and publicly state how it made her feel and it really shouldn't have got to this stage without anything being done.

Happy to add that at least the rest of the players are doing the right thing if not the Spanish FA or football's governing bodies.
 
Football Administration does seem to attract its fair share of cunts. Or maybe it's no bigger share than the general population?

@SebastianBlue You mentioned religion a couple of times. Is that really an issue here? Pretty sad if that's the case.

I agree. He is a shameless arrogant ego maniac. Why do these sub standard people keep getting the big jobs in football? The people in charge need to take action if he won't do the honourable thing himself and resign. What an embarrassment!?

It was embarrassing, and the female player said it was all made up. He's an utter fool and should be sacked immediately.
