And Real won't sack him unless he loses all four El Classico games.

That though is a quite likely outcome, no way he could he survive at Real if they get mullered in them all.

Re: "Me to City? Impossible. Absolutely impossible."

The Special One said last season about this time he was leaving Italy, Looks like were stuck with " Well iz possible" (Mancini), However if we beat the rags just as we have done before been underdogs, we get behind him, and f**k Special One.

Yes he did and it was written in the press that he said city wasn't a big enough job. He contacted the men to say he was misquoted and it was obvious he was coming.

What else does a manager say when asked a silly question like this

Re: "Me to City? Impossible. Absolutely impossible."

Also it has to be said that it's a rather strange question to be asked in a post match conference after winning a Chumps quarter final.

"Me to City? Impossible. Absolutely impossible."

The quote means nothing, rest assured. It tickles me when people take stuff like this seriously. He's in a job. We have a manager . Of course it's impossible.

But it might not be in the summer....

Re: "Me to City? Impossible. Absolutely impossible."

why say impossible, does that mean he would like it, but, no manager in their right mind would not want the city job, to be the highest payed manager, to have the biggest transfer budget in the world, to inherit some of the best players in this country at the moment? to put a team out in one of the best grounds in the country still being developed, to have the most loyal fans in the world? mark my words if he walks or gets the push from madrid his agents and solicitors will be putting the feelers out, but even that would depend on champs league and how bobby finishes the season off? if by any chance bobby lifts the fa cup for city no one will be able to move him because we won,t allow it? the next game is the one to decide bobby fate?

Re: "Me to City? Impossible. Absolutely impossible."

He will jump at the chance to manage United.
He can't wait for Fergie to resign, for no other reason than the fact that Fergie is considered the best in the business. And with him gone, his ego is that big, that it's a title he wants and craves so badly.

But he wont manage us, he's willing to wait for the United job.

Really, I very much doubt he will go there, very few top managers would, would you like to follow in the footsteps of Bacon Face?

I don't know if he would come to us either

Excellent news the guys an arrogant twat!!!!
Who wins things everywhere he manages. I could live with both sides of that!

To be fair, bar Chelsea, every other side he has managed has statistically been the best sides in their respected leagues, obv he hasen't won anything in madrid yet ........ and to be fair chelsea wern't far off.

Don't be ridiculous.

Mourinho only takes jobs which more or less guarantee him success. He's a great manager. But why risk his reputation. he can afford to pick and choose.

There won't be a vacancy if City stay where we are. And if we do finish outside the top 4, and the board decide to sack Mancini, then Mourinho wont be interested regardless of the money.

I don't understand why you can't just back the manager until its proven that he is not up to the job. After 12 months you simply cannot know. And the League and Cup progress suggest he's on target.

I should give up trying to discuss this. Totally pointless. Every defeat, we get the same old story

Re: "Me to City? Impossible. Absolutely impossible."

Doesn't mean he means it. Of course it's impossible right now, but in the summer? Who knows.

We need to start adjusting to the fact that he's taggart's heir elect. Those who are pleading for him now should expect to see their posts displayed by the smug pricks in rag cafe.

Re:

Not really saying anything new. He's said it so many times. He's not looking to leave Real. He's never lied in such a way about leaving Chelsea, joining Inter, leaving Inter, joining Real. He's said 'it is still to be decided', but never once 'I will not leave/join'.
No manager in their right mind would not want the city job, to be the highest payed manager, to have the biggest transfer budget in the world, to inherit some of the best players in this country at the moment?

There are them wot says Mancini doesn't want this job any more!

Two years ago, Real Madrid were Real Madrid, 31 times champions, fifteen times European Cup/CL winners, second in the league that year having won it twice on the trot before that, when they spent 160m. The same summer we finished 9th and spent 140m. In the last decade they have spent 1 billion euros on transfer fees. I repeat. 1 billion.
