Speed awareness course

You'll have to declare points to your insurance company for the next four years. I would (did) take the course.

I actually learned a few things today, more about driving and the law than speeding per se but the course was fairly light, good humoured and well recieved by most. I will probably change some of my driving habits in the short term until next time I'm late for something in a strange town at least. I don't think it would be unreasonable to make these courses compulsary for all drivers every couple of years or so rather than as an option to avoid points.
