We used to do the same. And when the Ace's were away, we would go to the stock car racing at BV.
Soren Sjosten was my speedway hero.

Aces had some fantastic riders at the time, but my favourite was also Soren Sjosten. Just a fantastic guy. I think his best individual achievement was finishing 3rd in The World Championship?

It was sold out last night. You did well to get tickets. I went to the 1st leg and they worked hard to get the thing on with the amount of rain.

Dan Bewley is on a different levlevel

He is, 2 full maximums in the final.
I paid on the gate mate, it was a good crowd though.
1st leg was my 2nd of the season, never miss it on the box but need to drag myself along more often next season, there's no substitute for the noise and smell of being there.
