I spoke to Gary Cook on sat night after the blackburn game at a cricket club in cheshire! He was a real quallity bloke and ven bought me and mate a pint. As a mad city fan and season ticket holder i asked a few softning questions before hitting him with the obvious... "who we gonna sign in the summer?" followed by "what are the new kits like?" followed by "we gonna give mark hughes a new contract?"
He laughed after the first saying you city fans are all the same you ask a few questions then on the fourth you ask who we signing!!! He said there will be no suprise names, but hughes wants 5 players - 2 strikers, 2 midfielders, 1 central defender that can play left back!!!

The third question was answered with a strange response... I siad are we gonna give him new contract he just replie "would you?" Taken aback by this i replied i would to stop all speculation and to give him another yr before we judge him!
He also said that there have been loads of meetings with other clubs about pkayers and that he has walked out of most of them after 10 mins cos of stupid price tags!
He said he went to barcelona in january to meet with valencia about villa and silva, straight away they asked for £135m so he said no thanks and walked away!!
