So what did Cook actually reveal if true?
That there would be no surprise signings!!! well as everymale over the age of 12 that has ever kicked a football has been linked with us in the medja over the last 7 months, then that rings true.
new players, one a central defender that can cover other positions, no shock there.
We want two new strikers and two new midfielders in the summer, as our top two leading scorers are both midfielders no real surprise there either

He spoke to valencia in January about players, was quoted a ridiculous price and walked away, as stated in just about every paper in the country
We are being quoted crazy prices by just about every club who we speak to about players, again already widely known,
so what did he say that causes people to dismiss the OP?
 
Sorry not been able to reply to all the guys who think im bull shitting!!! For some un known reason some numpties on here think that people make things up, and talk shit for the sake of it!!! Do you really think i would spend a good ten mins writing all that for no reason! He is a human being, and believe it or not he can speak to people he never met before because its part of his job, being spotted by over excited city fans.

He was at alderly edge cc with a mate he worked at nike with, and i was speaking to them with thier wives, infact i spent about half an hour trying to explain the whole game of cricket to him (because he was american!!!)

Regards the robbie signed shirt, i gave my number and email address to cooks wife she told garry to get me sorted as i gave my cap to his american friend who wanted to take it back to america, to play golf in!!!

What you have written is too much like common sense for some of the numpties on here im afraid.
 
He probably just humoured you after such daft questions, I mean even if Hughes had us in the top 3, playing in the UEFA Cup Final and had got Kaka, Messi and Villa in, why would we be offering him a new contract less than 12 months into the one he currently has ? Im sure that its a great plan to divulge our player plans to all and sundry and hope they keep it to themselves.
Sorry but If your adamant thats how it went then I think youve had the piss taken out of you by Mr Cook, personally Walter Mitty springs to mind
 
well to be honest if someone else put this on i would be sceptical as well, to be honest dont give a fuck! Il be the happy one when i get my signed shirt! It was just a down to earth chat and im sure il see him again as he saigned on as a member but next time il just tell the real blues!!!

I went to the girls school in alderley edge last month and turned up late to the dance show...my partner who is the drama teacher there saved me a seat at the front and low and behold i was sat next to Garry myself...kept trying to have a peek at his phone as he kept pulling it out...saw a few texts of Aldridge but couldn't make out what they said.

Then i went to a single toilet in the interval and some kid followed me in...i was like whoah, there is only one toilet mate. I then heard his dad call him to wait outside and i turned round and it was Dickov,haha!

Haha, nearly forgot...i have Stevie Ireland on front of my phone and i made it obvious i was turning my phone off...he must of had a look and noticed he was sat next to a blue!!!
 
Apparently Cook was having similar a conversation with another blue in the Railway Hale too, maybe he has loose lips when pissed.
