Sponsorship collaboration between clubs

I would like to know what our gate receipt income over a season is in comparison to our sponsor money and other add ons . Pretty sure it’s not high and isn’t a major income for the club. Like you say expand the stadium cut ticket prices and free for kids.

Matchday Income is in the £50millions. In last pre-covid year it was £55mil out of total revenue £535mil so just over 10%.

they are means and ways around everything

am surprised manchester city have not built a bigger stadium like a 100.000 and charge maximum £10 a ticket and free for kids and promote a major sponsor to get involved by investing there name to the tickets

match day revenue is a small fish in a very big ocean and clubs in the premier league really could open up for free
Correct. Pisses me off when they stick season tickets up by £20. Literally a speck in the ocean. But if city can screw a score out of us …

if you build a bigger stadium with safe standing and reduce the price of a ticket you really could offer free tickets or £20 maximum and make the same amount if not more. somebody said that match going fans in Germany pay around £17.50 for a match ticket and look at the atmosphere and full stadiums. the Etihad should be all safe standing in the lower level and go from there

Not whilst they can fit nonsense like the tunnel club in

I agree, safe standing is the way forward, make all the lower tiers safe standing. It will improve the atmosphere and encourage a lot of older fans to come back. Put away fans in the top tier like they do to us at Newcastle. Reduce drink prices and get fans in early like they did first game this season.
