Have heard a rumour that they are to be the new sponsor of the Bridge that connects the Campus
Hopefully they can put some tread down so people can grip whilst walking over it.
It is going to be very slippy when it gets colder.

There was a City survey the other week about our tyre sponsor and one question was would you buy Nexen because they are a City sponsor!
My answer was "no"

I had a set of these put on by the Peugeot dealer. I asked for the price of Michelin and then he quoted me a make I'd never heard of but assured me they all had them - they were good 'uns! I swallowed the assurance and got four for the price of two Michelin. I'd forgotten about them until Nexen tied up with City and I went out to check 'cos a thought stirred. Sure enough I had a set before Nexen had coughed up a penny. We FOCs in CBL3 are trailblazers if nowt else.

I agree that sponsorship works but I wouldn't buy something that was outright shit just because they sponsored City.
I have however avoided products for many years which associate themselves with United.
No real big impact but if enough of us are doing it then it can't be a bad thing.

I'm the same. My 30 year love affair with Adidas ended when they signed that deal with United. They can fuck right off now.

This is my problem as I own about 3 pairs of Adidas trainers lol...
I've purposely avoided Nike shit for years, but now they make city gear I'm supposed to suddenly buy it??
I won't be buying any Nike shirts until the quality improves and that shield goes.
