I feel absolutely gutted as me and my lad are booked on Spikes but I honestly think this is UEFAs doing, what a bunch of utter twats they are.

If that was the case surely city would have made at least a subtle mention to it in the statement? Instead they have now pissed off thousands of their most loyal "legacy" fans.

If he wants to throw his money around, suggest he send 1.5k tickets to Spike to distribute to those of us who were prepared to “jump through loops” and take risks to follow “Our Club”

No they haven’t. The ‘legacy’ fans are the exact ones that will be getting a trip paid for if they do it on loyalty points. It’s not the clubs decision to restrict to day trips.

Same applies to you my friend, my son and his mates plus loads of others have all booked independently, my point about spike is I chose that option rather than go on a 5 day bender because spike was running a controlled trip under the guise of being in the clubs name

They would have enough points to qualify anyway I assume. They could then either keep their current plans (if allowed) or cancel their bookings and do it through the club no?
