Not just the Southampton game. We could easily have lost to Fulham and could have gone two down at home against Brentford. And we needed a disputed goal to beat Wolves even though we dominated possession once again.I saw it coming at the home match against Southampton. People making out the Saints had played well were kidding themselves.
We were absolutely bobbins in that game, it was turgid crap we witnessed that day.
Inevitable a better team would turn us over.
But people are too quick with excuses: Saints aren't all that bad. Of course they aren't because four points from ten games is brilliant. Isn't it?
Our style demands top class players at the peak of their games in every position. We've had that for most of the past seven or eight seasons, but we certainly don't have it at the moment.
