Egan Riley was solid and McAtee had some lovely touches. He made one brilliant pass right at the end to Sterling who should have scored.Can someone tell me how the youngsters played? I didn't watch the game

Laughable official performance. Just out of his depth and why did Var not tell him about the blatant penalty. Mind you with FFS not on at that time, we would have probably missed it anyhow esp if Jesus took it.
Job done, hopefully no injuries, minutes on the pitch for some but absolute woeful set pieces again and not much threat up front again. Jesus unlucky to be an armpit offside for his offside goal but Raz stinking the place out sgain. Dreadful finishing as per usual.

The tie was over after the 1st leg so this was never going to be a classic. Stones was MOTM tonight, defended really well and lead the back line. Thought Fernandinho also had a decent game especially his crossfield passing. Finally special praise for Egan - Riley who more than held his own tonight and had excellent debut.

Egan was very good but didn't have much pressure.Can someone tell me how the youngsters played? I didn't watch the game
Mcatee was a bit quiet but did nothing wrong. A couple of good touches and passes.
Mbete looks a unit. Not tested defensively.
Carson looks a good keeper.

Job done. After the highs of the derby and the fact we were 5-0 up we just had to professionally see this tie out.
Great to see some of the kids get debuts and it bodes well for the future.
Hopefully Pep gives the lads a chance to rest up a wee bit as we don't play until Monday night.
Quarters finals of the Chumps league.....again, my late father would never have thunk it, and I'm sure rammyblues will be supping his "Green Marines" somewhere in another diamension!
