Was it just me or did the seem to use a defender for the var decision, who wasn't the furthest back?

They drew a line to a guy in their back line who didn't appear to be the last player. Bizzare.

I was ill at home at covid, and switched to the Real game when they scored I was so bored. I made the right decision. Professional enough performance. More minutes for some players, time for some of the kids, on another night we would have bagged a few. Onwards.

Always going to be, but that was a tough watch. Mcatee looked a solid prospect.

I had a feeling it might pay out like that because neither side realistically had anything to play for. It’s hard for teams to get the tempo and intensity going in a dead rubber.

Still, good to see some of the youngsters, a few of who are now looking ready for first team action. Mcatee in particular looks a class act.

An instantly forgettable game. They should give the crowd at least half their money back for paying to watch a training exercise. Highlights? John Stones and Scott Carson's save. Job done but by God was it dull

Our fans are so fucking spoiled. I had a great time tonight. Well worth the price.
