Did I hear baconface refer to this as a "vital victory"?

Spurs at home is vital?

Vital in the fact that it was the second youngest team they've ever fielded, albeit through injury. And a clean sheet for the goalie.
First clean sheet in his career or...?

Heres a good question, why does half this forum keep calling us shit and saying we're not title contenders? I'm sorry, did we not give you the spanking of a lifetime just 2 weeks ago or have you already forgotten?

And don't chat crap that you weren't fit enough, the week before you raped Inter Milan, and a week later Bolton. Yet against us, we had you begging for the ball - minus your two goals.

I understand disliking us, but there's no need to be so aggressive and rude towards us. Its how I respect your team, you should respect mine. Football fans nowadays...

In all fairness Inter were only beginning their pre-season so if you look at it from a coach's perspective we might have been playing around 75% and Inter 50%. I don't think it was as large a gap against you but there was no question we were the tired side.

Also it's looking more and more like they're headed back to pre-bribing scandal Inter, who were Italy's version of Arsenal but with experienced players.

Inter are trying a new 3-4-3 system and their players clearly aren't buying into it, and neither are their personnel suited to it.

I think Gasperini will be gone by February.

Anyway back to the original topic....spurs were fucking awful last nite, truly got a spanking once they went one down, should have been more but thanks to Friedel it wasn't.....but mark my words the fuckers will try their fucking hearts out on Sunday against us

Fuck off Redknapp,shit manager,shit tactics

Meh. Real are more daunting on the team sheet then they are on the pitch IMO. Ronaldo is a true match winner and Casillas is hard to beat on his day, but they have a good number of players that are overrated.

The backline is Reals weakness, apart from that I don't see any overrated players there. Özil being, imo, the best playmaker in the world bar Xavi and maybe Iniesta. As much as I love Silva, Özil is simply better.

Had Real stuck to their game plan, with the ultra aggressive pressure from the Bernabeu, they probably would have won the Super Cup. Point being, they are very capable of beating Barcelona. Can't think of any other team in the world that I could say the same about.

We might be able to challenge Barcelona, but I still think Lescott is an accident waiting to happen, very much the same as Pepe for Real. I pray Savic will get match time against the lesser teams and that he matures into the EPL very quickly. Kompany is world class, but he needs a world class partner. I think Richards is best suited as a fullback given his speed and surging runs and crossing ability would be wasted in the center.

Speaking of central defenders, that Phil Jones, looks absolute class.

oh jesus....

We raped you in the semi which was the more important
game, you can stick your friendly up your arse. Ferguson obviously
put a lot into that game (probably feeling sick after the Fa.cup).
Yes united are a brilliant team and i think it will be tight between yourselves,
us or chelsea but to go off that charity shield match for the whole season is stupid.

And about that last comment "football fans nowadays"....

You obviously don't go to games with the rest of your women pushing, old man
attacking, spitting, family intimidating, fucking scum of the earth, arrogant
cunting cockney wankers, you lot call fans.

We had a near-reserve squad out against you guys, no sense of Ferguson putting a lot into it lol and I'm not going off that at all, I'm just saying a bit more respect would be appreciated.

I do go to games during university term time tyvm. And to judge all our fans based on a select few is weak. Even you have fans who'll be the same. Its inescapable.

your on the wrong board,we beat you in the game that matters.do one.

...for example.

Think you played well last night against a team whose mentality was poor with a record of no wins in 20 against your lot...

Seeing you are young you wont remember your team when they were in the same bracket as Villa spurs everton and Liverpool were the force(pre fergie)

The only reason you have won everything for the last 20 years is because you have the best manager ever and they come around once in two generations. When he goes what's to say you won't do a Liverpool.....

and I bet, strangely enough, that Modric will have sorted his head out! Very, very strange that he wasn't OK for the game against the Rags.....if Rednapp was a great manager Modric would have played.

spanking of a lifetime?
bwahahahahaha,if you want spanking of a lifetime then rewind to the chimps league final, now that was a spanking glazerite wasn`t it?
what did you have, one shot? and that was offside but please correct me if i`m wide of the mark..
raped milan? hmm i think you may have overcooked that remark,it was a friendly that didn`t mean nothing and just like the charity shield it meant shite but something tells me it meant more to you lot with those wild celebrations(when is the parade for it?)
such a shame you couldn`t come on here after the semi but let`s face it,it`s a worthless cup once you lot get knocked out of one isn`t it!!
you can smell the fear from here....

The fawning by the commentators last night was sickening.

Fergies Babes...do me a favour.

Spurs midfield fell apart in the second half and United upped the tempo.

I'm confident we can do Spurs at the Lane as our midfield will dominate and they are badly missing Modric.

The rags were pumped up for it last night because they knew the world and his wife were watching to see how they'd follow our performance on Sunday.

Phew! Thank god someone nailed it!
