Spurs’ new stadium

Harry Kane nowhere to be seen apart from his head poking out of the centre half's back pocket.
Spurs were utterly shit 2nd half. Completely bottled it.

Yep. Well beaten. One week you are the best team in the world. The next week you are shit. Football eh.

Does it matter? Not really. It's good to be a Spurs fan at the moment. Much to be happy about.

Just a thoight as it seems money is owed all over the place regarding the new stadium, who of Kane, Ali and Erikspn will have to be sold?

To be fair to Spurs, they played a big CL tie in midweek, while Arsenal's first team had their feet up. May explain, in part, Spurs' slow start and why they looked tired at the end.

Says a lot that Arsenal fans and the club are celebrating as if they have won a trophy. When Arsenal were a better team a few years ago, the fans used to poke fun at Spurs fans for celebrating derby wins, referring to Spurs supporters as 'small time'.

Tbf it looks likely to be a straight fight between them and Chelsea for 2 CL spots, so that was a big win.

Yes but you can't strive for Champion's league football and then moan that you're tired by playing in it. Arsenal played themselves into a position in the Europa where they could rest players Tottenham didn't because they fucked the early games up.

Spurs haven't moaned about it, as far as I am aware. But it is undeniable, playing in CL can hinder performances. For example, each CL playing team performed sketchily this weekend.

Poor performance second half we did look knackered. I agree about Arsenal fans, they celebrated like they won the world cup. They made fourth place, brings back memories of the Wenger era they didnt want anymore!

Bit like United against us last year.
Winning the we beat City cup and fuck all else and celebrating like a league title.
Cold comfort - ill give the eye gouger until xmas at this rate, they might turn Arsenal over for you lot midweek though.

I celebrate every win over the rags as if we'd won the title, always have done, they used to call us "small time" for doing that when they were on top, couldn't care less tbh.

Yes, I agree.

Nothing wrong in celebrating wildly when you beat your rivals. Not small time at all. I hate losing to Arsenal more than any other club. And the joy of beating then is as good as it gets. These rivalries are part of the DNA of any club.

Also pretty ridiculous for anyone to call any of Arsenal, Spurs, City or United small time clubs.

I'm not surprised their numbers at Wembley are dropping off. We shouldn't ignore the fact that Spurs fans will be extremely pissed off by now - if this was City can you imagine how many threads we'd have on it?
