Have you ever seen the Ricky Villa goal since? Its rare they show it on TV

Oh do fuck off reminding us of that at Wembley weekend.
I hate you lot because as a 11year old upset boy walking out of Wembley, a spurs fan tried to console me and my younger brother by telling us we’d win it next year... we didn’t, you lot did again.

****s.

Yep; they broke an 18 year old's heart that thursday evening.

And whose fault is that? It’s not City's.

The blame lies squarely at the feet of Levy and Lewis. They should have provided Poch the funds to strengthen the squad last summer.

Not sure why you're talking about blame, mate. That's not what the discussion is about. I responded to Domalino's post about Spurs having regressed this season and merely offered a number of reasons, in addition to the one which he suggested, as to why.

You said this to a City fan regarding their feelings towards Spurs.

“A near 40 year one sided 'rivalry' just seems very bizarre to me.”

At least those feelings actually have some basis in history (albeit a cup match in the 80’s and pipping us to a CL place in more recent years) I asked you why you feel how you do about Liverpool and asked if I was missing some history between the two clubs to explain your hatred towards them and you offer what is said on RAWK about Spurs as your justification?

I think those who dislike Spurs on here have more reason to do so than you do for your “bizarre” dislike of Liverpool when there isn’t any conceivable reason for it.

I can't speak for Spurs Loyal but Liverpool fans have taken it upon themselves to hate Spurs. And, short of being a self-flagellator, it's quite hard not to dislike someone who hates you. They hate the fact that Spurs have finished above them in 8 of the past 9 seasons (so much so that they've re-programmed their collective memory and you're hard pushed to find many who realise that Spurs have finished above them even two or three times over recent years). They hated Spurs getting a draw off them last season with a last minute penalty. They hate Harry Kane for claiming 'that' goal and threatening to spoil Salah's party.

I get all of that and wouldn't mind it if it was just on RAWK. But they have been flooding every (forgive the hyperbole) article or tweet about Spurs or Kane with the same monotonous crap for nigh on two years. It's tedious and witless. Above all, it is wholly lacking in any semblance of self awareness. The hypocrisy is breathtaking. Mix it all in with gobshite arrogance that belongs to 1990 and it's no wonder that Spurs fans have grown to thoroughly dislike Liverpool.

So it’s because of some knobs online?

If you only had 100 hate points to distribute to all the clubs how would you distribute them? I got asked this a few years back and it actually took more thinking about than I expected ;-)
This is a fantastic question, needs a whole new thread, which I will now start, crediting you.

Exactly this.

Yes. Lots of knobs. Why not? Seems to me to be every bit as valid a reason for disliking a club as a football match 38 years ago.

They basically decided that Kane was trying to steal the golden boot from their Messiah and ramped up the hatred exponentially and even their players were trolling us on social media. Absolutely no class that club .

Personally I find it moderately offensive that spurs fans are being asked to justify dislike of Liverpool as surely any contact with a scouser whether it be in person or a distance medium results in a natural feeling of dislike\hatred depending on the duration of the contact, its as natural as breathing and we shouldn't be asking them to justify something so normal.

That's because totally unlike Salah, Harry Kane is just a one season wonder. Has been for about five years now...

The only positive talking to a Scouser is that you will get a free shower when they speak to you

Just signed up to take a look at what you guys were saying about last night's match, and you seem a fairly reasonable bunch compared to most opposition fans so thought I'd say hi.

Unable to view the actual match thread from last night, but guessing that's not available to new people?

Did many of you go to the game last night, and if you did, what were your thoughts on the stadium? I was at the Palace game last week, block 113 next to the away support. They all looked to be enjoying the safe standing throughout the away section, but not sure what the other facilities are like for away fans. Because the stadium will be unsegregated for some events I assume we've put the same amenities in there as there is in the rest of the stadium, but would be interesting to hear for sure.

I know we've made the away changing rooms the most basic we're allowed to do under the rules, but I guess we're not doing the same for the fans

Liverpool are scared of Spurs.

They have seen Arsenal, Chelsea and City pass them on and off the pitch.

Spurs are catching them. It wont be long before Spurs too overtake them
