Liked the look of Wright. Played out on the left with Nunes and made some good touches. Shooting was a bit shite but he’s a kid. Love the energy they bring with them.
He went down right on the final whistle, treatment on the pitch after FTThe one by the touch line? He looked to be holding his upper thigh/groin area. He had treatment and carried on, so hopefully……?
As long as Akanji is fit to play. The problem we are having is we are still continuing to do what we do with the high press and very high backline, In which most cases we are able to play this way and get out of trouble with Kyle Walkers pace, Overall we lack pace at the back and it's notable in the absence of Walker, With Rodri being out also reading the game and winning back possession to stop counter attacks isn't helping either unfortunately.
Injuries have been a killer for us.
Pep could go back to playing Akanji in the right back position again.
Yeah, he was fouled by the Spurs player on the touchline. Hopefully just a dead leg.The one by the touch line? He looked to be holding his upper thigh/groin area. He had treatment and carried on, so hopefully……?
Barcelona vs Madrid 2 at the age of 17, 3 at the age of 21, same vs Munich, so that‘s not the reason. The „kids“ were great tonight.Injuries are a concern but not arsed about the results. All the kids did really well.
Fuck off Spurs. Hanging on against a side with 5 players under the age of 21
