Spurs (A) | EFL Cup | Post Match Thread

If it had not been for the injuries I would be quite happy tonight. Some of the kids did very well. McAtee unfortunately did not grab his chance. Nunes becoming an important player for us. Some great keeping from Ortega kept us in it at times.

Sluggish start did us in. Told myself at the start it didn’t matter if we bomb out, yet feel gutted now. Some real positives to take away from it though

About as least bothered about a defeat as Ive ever been. Son aside, that was Spurs's best team and how shit were they against our u21. Not that SKY would point that out of course. Our first 11 would have torn that team a new shitter.

He should have been NOWHERE FUCKING NEAR that pitch tonight. Our best player this season, should have had a night off as much as Haaland.
why the fuck did he had him play in a game that he wanted to lose. i had a nad feeling when i saw him on the pitch.

allegedly ake limped off, i didn’t see it they cut off our stream.

Sadly, same issues as most of our games this season.
Too easy to score against, too easy to counter us. Any team with pace is killing us.
And at the other end, same failings in the final third. Zero creativity in the team and even less goal threat without Haaland. 3 shots on target from 15 is piss poor.
Just no decent finishers throughout the club bar Haaland and it shows, play good football, plenty of the ball but toothless.

Not bothered about the result and I thought the team played ok. Very worrying about all these injuries we are picking up, just hope Savinho's is not long term.
