Spurs (A) | FA Cup | Post Match Thread

The ITV coverage pre match regarding our magnificent support , 9000 travelling 200 miles on a Friday evening. Not one image was shown or mentioned . Contrast the coverage for Sunderland v Newcastle Derby where the 6000 'magificent' Newcastle fans were highlighted several times ....travelling for all of 13 miles .
To be fair they did mention it. McCoist mentioned it and asked how many city fans as looked like a lot and the commentator said 9k. They only mentioned it once though.

Lucky to be in Block 421 last night where the atmosphere was electric - still buzzin this am.

Impressed with the stadium tbf and I rarely looked at the big screens which is unique for me ... superb view of the game tbf ... the winner was just class in front of the away supporters...

All hap except for Tierney who was the quintessential 'homer' and I wasted far too much negative energy on him during game - need to refocus on the brilliant 9k fans last night - well done all

His distribution was shocking against Newcastle, but I noticed a different level of control & accuracy with him last night.

This is more the level we've come to expect.
I'm sure the fact that he was not expecting to play in the Newcastle match may have played a part in him being a bit off, not that that's an excuse, but all in all this guy has been a gem for us since the day he arrived. His anticipation and reactions on their through ball attempts yesterday was spot on...

I thought Kova started the season well then got injured and went off the ball. Last night he was magnificent, as was Rodri. Kova is a class player, a steal at 20/25 million and hopefully can now cover for when Rodders inevitably gets his 2 game ban

That's been my take on his season so far as well. I was really impressed when he first joined and thought his performances post injury have been poor, but he was top class last night, hoping he can keep up that sort of form.

You'll rarely see a game with a midfield so congested against such an athletic team, rodri and kovacic were outstanding, it was like a 5 a side pitch in there and we bosses it.
Pep had a right fucking go at Doku then Dias at the end, looked pissed off with something. Great stadium but a ball ache to exit
