Spurs (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

IMO, the team played the first half exactly to Peps instructions. Nil nil at half time suited us as we always come strong in the second half. One nil down and its an uphill struggle so we'll done Pep and our very own version of the 300 Spartans.

I'm not kissing myself on the bollocks here but he had certain games this season in his early City days and thinking "Holy Fuck I've never seen anything like this guy"...He made a few mistakes mid season ect and people writing him off...

He's a gem. He's one of the worlds best already.
I've said it before but I said when he gets his first goal he'll kick on ..
He did exactly that.
Needed it for his self belief.
Totally changed since he scored "that " first goal for himself.
He'll be the best cb in the world in 2 years..
Reading the game , ball playing cb.

The way we all felt watching the match tonight, do not ever, EVER let any rival fan assume that we'll ever stop caring about City being Champions of England.

My best part of tonight! My daughter turned just 10, City fucking mad! Singing her heart out last Saturday the day of her birthday...

Tonight shaking like fuck when the penalty was awarded, Haaland scored and she started to cry! Few minutes later singing Champions Again Ole Ole...

That's what it's all about! These moments in life...Wow...

Reminder to you all, Enjoy this whilst you can and make the most of this success, It doesn't last forever. Come Sunday, Party!

"My word!" As the insufferable Ray Wilkins was prone to say.
We rode our luck tonight and when Son missed that chance, I knew the league - and double - were ours.
That win will go down in the ever extending City folk lore as one of our most important - not playing particularly well; getting kicked to fuck; sub goalie comes on and saves us; Doku decides to go world class; Foden is world class, despite being kicked to fuck; Haaland does Haaland; and City to do what City do!
Happy days boys! See you at the Etihad on Sunday.

Oh, yeah - any Arsenal fans watching - that's the Etihad; where you lost the league because you were too scared to come out and try to beat us - settling for a point, and finishing up where you are now - 2nd again.
