Spurs (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Hopefully that 1st half was a view of City in the future should've been at least 2/3 up,a bit wobbly 2nd half but a win is a win this season,oh fcuk VAR

It should have been done and dusted by half time against a poor Spurs side.
Savinho is a great player but he's useless at finishing. He's either off target or it's a little feeble shot straight at the goalkeeper.
First season, hes going to be some player, just a kid really.

That first half was as good as we've played all season and had we finished our chances we'd have been justifiably 4-0 up. If you think that's rubbish then I can't imagine how youve been feeling this winter.
You make the point - thank you. Exactly. The match is 90 minutes. We never did wrap it up did we. Then we had to hang on for 45minutes hoping we dont do another blunder at the back and toss it off again.

Most of that second half was a tough watch but I doubt there’s a city fan that exists who thought it wasn’t gonna be that way after missing all those chances in the first half

As for the disallowed goal.. absolutely scandalous. Thank fuck it wasn’t 0-0 at the time and thank fuck they didn’t equalise with that header. The shit would have really hit the fan

VAR: I can't see whether it’s handball or not, ref.
Ref: Yeah well l thought I did in real time so let's stick with that yeah?
VAR: Seriously I mean, there is no conclusive proof that it’s handball.
Ref: Well I've blown the whistle so we stay with the on field decision.
VAR: We have these monitor things you can look at if you want?
Ref: Nah, if you’ve spent 5 minutes looking at it forensically, I’m not sure that me looking at it is going to make much difference.

What a system
Slight edit.

How on Earth are pundits still saying Khusanov isn’t doing brilliant at City? Been brilliant since he came in but one mistake a month ago means he’s not settled in still despite being one of our best players since.
They just don't want it to be true, so they've gone into denial hoping and praying he makes another mistake. Don't forget, legacy media silence when it's us means good news !

Throw in the Arsenal and Chelsea results and it's 9/15 - the same return as if we'd beaten Chelsea and Newcastle and drawn with Liverpool, Arsenal (A), and Spurs (A). I know most of the performances haven't been good enough, but getting through this really tough stretch of games with that record would be decent during most of our title-winning seasons.
Thinking exactly the same mate. A very tough month negotiated and a reasonable set of results. Top four is there for the taking.

Be nice if we win a header, let alone more.
We all know we have the most incompetent set piece coach out of the 92 football clubs in the 4 divisions. We cannot take a decent one, and give up goals and free headers when meant to be defending them.
Totally.

They couldn’t say that there definitely wasn’t, therefore there was no clear and obvious error
I can say there definitely wasn’t.
They spent long enough looking at it from every conceivable angle.
So I’ll say 100% it wasn’t handball.
Var should’ve told him to go look at the spurs player juggling the ball.
