And won't change until opponents are punished for it. Refs seem to be allowing a more physical approach all over the pitch and we lack players who can compete. The holding of Haaland continuously during corners was ridiculous.
Can you name them? In the awful run between November and December last year he was injured. He's also been injured for this poor run too so I wouldn't say that was a coincidence? I agree there's an issue with the collective attitude of the players and that second half was totally inexcusable. I'm saying I don't think he allows us to crumble like that if he was on the pitch.Have you seen some of the performances and results over the last couple of years when Dias has been on the pitch?
The issue is more than single players, it's a collective attitude that shouldn't be impacted by one player being on the bench rather than pitch. It's also a system that means whoever plays in defence is constantly exposed whenever we lose the ball. That means those further up the pitch play safe to avoid losing the ball and we end up passing the ball backwards and sideways until inevitably giving it away.
I’d normally agree with this but Spurs were so poor, particularly in the first half, and we didn’t go for their jugular. Really disappointing. In the cold light of day I’m eating my breakfast in Thailand and perused this thread and can rightly understand the frustration of last night but I would have snatched your hand off for a draw at theirs. A win would have been a bonus and that point could make a big difference if the Tarquins fall off a cliff.
You'd snatch someone's hand off for a draw at the team in 15th place before the game? Is that a reflection of how far we've fallen or didn't you fancy winning the title this season. Arse won 4-0 against a team only a couple of places lower. In the cold light of day I’m eating my breakfast in Thailand and perused this thread and can rightly understand the frustration of last night but I would have snatched your hand off for a draw at theirs. I agree, we are becoming so predictable in both the way we play and how games will pan out. Most people can usually tell what's going to happen way before it happens. Yesterday, most seasoned blues just knew that game was not going to be won at the moment they scored, or maybe even 5 mins before itA spurs winner was in the back of my mind not long after the equaliser.Still that's a really annoying result after being 2 up.
For years I have thought that players thus targeted should wear a paper shirt, full of perforations. Holders would be left with the evidence in their hands. The holding of Haaland continuously during corners was ridiculous.
Haaland making a run at a corner? You’re dreaming!Haaland needs to take himself away from these situations.
Get a run on defenders at corners and smash the cunts, whilst burying the ball in the net!
With the added bonus that the TV screens would soon be awash with semi-naked, well muscled young men, I think football would quickly attract a new, far more diverse demographic. For years I have thought that players thus targeted should wear a paper shirt, full of perforations. (Only slightly tongue in cheek!)
And we've won our last 2 PL games there. Not when going two nil up at half time you would've snatched their hand off for a draw

Said exactly the same need to unpack the area and get runners into the box Erling is totally ineffective as it isHaaland needs to take himself away from these situations.

So he risked going down to a defeat in the first half to see Pep's plan Lets face it if their first goal had been rightly disallowed then Frank's plan would have failedMulled it over and watched the extended highlights again this Morning. Frank knew exactly where and how high up the pitch we would be as we (Pep) will not adapt the suicidal high line even when comfortably winning 0-2, he's literally letting Managers suss us in the first 45 every match as we won't/can't change anything.
Where's the Executive Summary? hahaNOR fucks up twice in 5 minutes, and it costs, conceding promising plays to the opposition. You see, ignorance of danger and inexperience cost (remember Chelsea's equalizer?). However, I can name players, far more experienced, who cannot be satisfied with their performance tonight. Some of them came from the bench, maybe because they were not trusted to start anyway. Miles away from the required standard...
I agree with you, but i think it would make PIGMOL just double down and carry on what they are doing.I disagree mate..it needs airing publicly
We are being fucked over every game..we are reffed differently to the red shirted cartel..
Pigmol know it and probably think that we won't say fuck all..we need to.hightlight it every time and stop letting them get a free ride.
Two immediate ones that spring to mind are Leeds at home followed by Fulham away. Whilst both ended up wins, we got ourselves into trouble from comfortable positions. Can you name them?
