Spurs (a) - Post Match Thread

Great win. Tremendous character by City. Players gave everything they had. Wasteful with a few chances sure but still had enough quality to run out deserved winners. Good move to bring Ota on to give more solidity at the back. They created virtually nothing second half. Walker was my MOTM. Good case for red cards for both Lloris and Davies. Penalty was outside the box but Lloris should have walked for the challenge and Davies definitely should as well. After what's gone on this week and last week the players showed their mettle and class.

So Pep will be on Blakeley municipal when United slip up tomorrow

I know. BLAKEY, not Blakeley (Blackley?).

Touching to see such a fantastic reception for yaya at the scene of some of his greatest moments. Well done to all the blues down there.

Also touching hearing the crowd singing the Guardiola song towards the end of the match. It has been a difficult week, but true City fans do not forget...

Also touching reading posts supporting Raheem, Ilkay and the rest of the lads.

An attitude a lot of people in this forum can learn from...

Well done indeed.

How are we 17 clear of Liverpool with a game in hand yet managed to get beat twice in the space of a week by them?

This City team is just so strange whenever it comes up against Liverpool.

Thank fuck for that.

But my life, we don't half miss some very easy chances. Not half chances, absolute nailed on chances.

After this game nobody can question this teams bottle, after what happened against United, away from home to Spurs... They pulled a goal back before half time when they should have been down to 10 men, they came at us in the opening period of the second half and we had to defend and defend we did. Slowly but surely we ripped control of the game back from them in front of their home support, we were more than good for the 3rd goal in the end, should have been 5-6 if anything.

Cajonas displayed proudly.

Great response from the team. A jammy goal aside Spurs didn't get a sniff.

Unfortunate to see the streak of unpunished leg breakers continued though. That's three from Spurs this season.

11 v 11 they're up 9-4. Looks like Klopp knows how to play Guardiola.

I think that sort of thing is the reason why kdb isn't player of the season, so many beautiful chances are creates that are missed by sterling

Fuck all to do with Sterling if kev doesn't win it it's players who pick it not fans..
He frustrates at times but let's not forget he's won us games this season....
Won us a penalty today aswell he's top of the league..
