Spurs (A) Post match Thread

That was a right fucking stitch up.

Team of giants booting the ball forward & even when we win it, the 2nd ball bounces up for another fucking header.

Showed good fighting spirit to get through but Silva with an open net, almost threw it away.

Gary Neville is clearly dispirited by us keeping clean sheets.
 
All a bit unnecessary flapping in the last 20 minutes because we wasted at least 2 gilt edge chances. At 3-0 we could have shut up shop.. Mendy had a howler, he was that bad that Walker having a stinker looked mild. Stones & Laporte shone but Fern MotM just ahead of Mahrez..
 
Quite a win that, proper battling, that pitch though was a cause for a lot of the shoddy footy from both sides, the Lamela chance being a prime example.
 
Pitch was too firm but I think a major issue was the lines all over the frickin place. I can forgive a few dodgy performances because they all battled and three points away to a team with top four aspirations is a good result.
 
Stones and Aymeric were immense though.
Silva and Silva we're about as good as you can expect on a pitch like that. Sterling was fantastic, so was Mahrez. Aguero didn't look sharp but ran about and pressed well. Infact considering the state of the pitch I thought we were fantastic apart from the disasterclass from Mendy and Walker not really being on his game.
 
Don't post very often, but just Laporte. 56 years old and thought Morrison was best ever then the legend Vinny, but Laporte incredible. So measured, and positioning immense.
 
Hope Pep comes out and slates Spurs and the PL for allowing a top class game to be played on that pitch an utter disgrace
