Spurs (A) Post match Thread

From The Telegraph:

On a frankly embarrassing pitch, after the heavy-duty damage caused by the NFL match just a day before, it felt like an occasion ruined; a showpiece game that was left resembling a pockmarked eyesore. It was simply unacceptable and certainly hampered the contest.
Suppose that about sums it up,but we still deserved the three points anyhow..

Spot on. It didn’t feel like a real game, almost like a friendly on a shocking pitch.

Mendy tonight...

Careful. You'll have @Sky Blue on your case!

Bloody hell. We were terrible. Pep looks disgusted. But somehow, through good fortune, through some last-ditch defending, through some phenomenal goalkeeping, we managed to win. And when the dust settles, the rest of the league will conclude that we can beat Spurs even when we’re at our worst.
We were not terrible ( sloppy at times yes, particularly Mendy and Walker).
Pep did not look disgusted.
There was no last ditch defending.
Eddie did not need to do any 'phenomenal' goalkeeping apart from a good save one on one with Kane.
If you're going to do a wind up you must do better than that.

Pitch ruined the game, both teams obviously suffered from it.

Still, very hard-fought three points, that.
