Or does the best manager in the world recognise what Jesus can bring to the team?
I hope you're right. I really do. Yes, he offers his full back more protection. But do we want him doing that, or offering a threat going forward? He is incredibly frustrating as a "forward", constantly hitting the first man with his crosses. And his scoring record (even allowing that he's not an out and out striker) is poor. However; in Pep we trust. And if you're back on at FT giving me stick after Navas has had a blinder, I'll be delighted to take it (take it, take it!).

Think this will end in a draw today 2.2 I'll go for, will be keeping an eagle eye on the ref and the linesman to see if they attempt to fuck us over though..

Fernando was always going to start. So was Navas. The real question was always who would play at fullback.

I agree with you about his limitations and how frustrating he can be but he will put the miles in, won't lose cheap possession and does pose a threat. Now if Pep can work the kolarov/ sterling magic on him we might have a player

Take a draw today, few big names missing & Spurs are a very good team. Solid looking 11 with some potential game changers on the bench, hopefully it pays off.
