They need to move on from the past week. The season has been an excellent one, win here and wrap it up next Sunday.
3-1 to us.

Having begun to get over the last week and clear my head, I think we will win. Player's now focused on the one target, against a team that will give us space. 1-3 City.

Yes but 0 out of 3 is not a good result however you spin it. It's not even an average result. It's the worst possible result.

I am STILL fucked off that we threw the United game in chasing a lost cause CL 2nd leg. We'd have won on Saturday if we didn't have half an eye on Tuesday.

Fucking hell.
You hit the nail on the head.i don’t think people realise the effect peps attitude to the derby had on the players.all week he’d said Liverpool was the focus.so he picks good side but not our best and we go two up.even though now after three defeats and mental deflation I think we are struggling, we can’t have been physically tired agains5 United.i think he had put Liverpool in their mind an$ they switched off a little.with all the celebrations arranged and celebrating all over Manchester afterwards the adrenaline of winning would have lifted them against Liverpool and tiredness would not have been a factor.but the deflation of th3 derby surely affected thei4 attitude and when things stared to go wrong they couldn’t lift.all down to peps attitud3 to the derby for me and unfortunately I think it will carry over to spurs.what will change, they will press and b3 up fo4 it thinking we are there for the taking,( they owe us one don’t forget as we battered them last time.pep is fantastic manager and has us playing fabulous football but that last week he got it wrong.

Mauricio Pochettino on City:

“I think we are going to play the best team in England. They deserve to be at the top. They were the most consistent team, playing with fantastic players of course and fantastic coaching staff and fantastic manager. They deserve a lot of praise."

Just have to get our defence more switched on tommorow. So far Ederson has got all the plaudits and rightly so. However he has had very little to do in many games where weve completely bossed His footwork is superb. but the last three matches imo have been a concern his shot stopping and positioning are certainly questionable and understandably has been less than assured I am not saying we have been sold a pup i just feel he has a lot more to do to become a great keeper On the plus side he is unbelievably quirky but not a Grobbelaar and only young , so has plenty of time to learn

We havent put a good 90 minutes performance together recently , we have had good halves and made a lot of chances but ultimately failed to get the results , the world and his dog will be hoping our recent collapse continues , i am sure Pep is aware which players are suffering from a seasons long slog and will refresh the team. Would take a draw to stop the slide down the table.............well the 16pt lead is down to 13 now and if the Rags reduce it to 11pts on Sunday , their giddiness will return and will be hoping for a Devon Loch scenario, yes they are that deluded.

We are still going to win the league and set a bunch of records this season regardless of the result in this game. We're still going to win a double and have been amazing throughout the season.

However, having seen the ferocity with which people waiting 10 months to go after Pep/City again have attempted to rewrite the entire season based on 1 bad week, I think this game has become a must win to preserve some of the significance of this season, to remind people that it's the most dominant league campaign by any club since 2000.

I don't know if we can do it to be honest, but I really hope we can. It seems like the quality is there just not the stamina.

Bravo got dogs abuse for letting in every shot at goal and Ederson has done exactly the same recently , not comparing Ederson with Bravo there is absolutlely no contest but Bravo must be thinking why he got so much shite from our support when Eddy is lauded as the best keeper in the Premier league by some pundits.
