Wouldn't be against giving him a shot as a backup option if we sell Otamendi and Stones, sign a new CB and loan out THB for the season.

Would still leave us with 5 CBs though, so game time would be limited, but not a terrible idea to get him back and integrated with Fernandinho nearing the end of his reign.

Think the most likely outcome is that he'll be sold with a buy back though.

If Laporte is fit, would you not rather have Garcia over Otamendi? Feel like Otamendi has been decent in a back 3, but just been such a liability in a 2. Although, you would hope that if anyone can help him step up his game, it would be Laporte!

Hopefuly the 2 formation has left the building
