Agree completely ... however with having been “rested” before an international break and in a big game, when he comes back this might be the game where this kick up his backside works and he comes all guns blazing and scores a hat-trick or something ... if he doesn’t, then there’s really no hope for him here and I see him being sold next summer (or dare I say even January).
Bernado needs to play in midfield, not on the wing. The reason he does'nt is because we have lost Ferno or a player like him. Rodri is a good footballer but does not offer us the security to allow a midfield of him, Kevin and Bernado. Certainly not when we play the better teams.

Ederson
Walker Dias Laporte cancelo
Bernardo Fernandinho gundogan
De bruyne Jesus sterling

move de bruyne out of the midfield 3 and give us more control over the length of the whole game when he tires in the second half. Legs of Bernardo in midfield. Jesus and sterling free to roam.
Foden on as first sub as fresh legs against tired defence

Let's wait till after the internationals to see who's injured, we've already lost Ake

At least it's not the first one back after the internationals at 12:30pm like last time ...

Still would have preferred this to be on Sunday so Pep has a day extra training the boys as some won't be back till Thu or Fri even.

Although this fixture isn't a "must win" - we had better win all 3 points unless some sort of fluke bad luck obviously occurs.

We're the best side in the world - we now have a mostly sold defence - LB is questionable - so we need to step it up and prove our worth on the pitch.

This is absolutely a "statement" game - we need to make clear that we're the best.

Must win for me this.

Yup, me too ... must win next 3-4 in a row now ... given we have had too many draws and a loss already ... so must-win is the need to go on a good run of 4-5 wins stringed together

If the law of averages ever evens itself out we should be due a very dodgy Sterling pen which KDB buries at the second attempt after their keeper moves off his line saving the 1st one. Then Spurs equalize in the last seconds only for it to be ruled out for a marginal offside 3 minutes later.

We aren’t anything close to being the best team in the world. You could argue we were two seasons ago, but right now, no.
