Bernardo, bizarrely, isn't being given an opportunity to find consistency as Pep won't start him. When he does get chosen he's normally shoehorned into a line up that doesn't do him or the team any favours.Despite such.he still gives 100% every time he enters play and helps tremendously with the press. Why is Mahrez hated but Bernardo isn‘t? Bernardo is offering nothing. He had 1 good season in 4? Mahrez at least can score which Bernardo doesn‘t. Yeah he Bernardo runs a lot but he is no threat right now - neither in creativity and neither in front of the goal. He plays too vertically.
Worldclass argument. As always.
I do understand where you are coming from. Mahrez is no workhorse or sometimes/ often slows up the game instead of keeping the pace - but when Bernardo was in a midfield with Gundo and Rodri you didn‘t see him either and he was supposed to be the creative element. First the reason was that he couldn‘t Play on De Bryune‘s position- which is his best position to many of us. And yet he couldn’t deliver when given the opportunity. I am not in the dressing room or neither am I in the coaching staff - but Pep probably has his reasons same when he dropped Sané.Bernardo, bizarrely, isn't being given an opportunity to find consistency as Pep won't start him. When he does get chosen he's normally shoehorned into a line up that doesn't do him or the team any favours.Despite such.he still gives 100% every time he enters play and helps tremendously with the press.
Contrast that with Mahrez, who a been afforded too many chances,in his favoured position, and in all aspects.....he constantly fails to deliver.

No argument to be had. You can’t even get the basic facts right, like claiming Bernardo has played for us for 4 seasons. Happy to post a gif of a rhino shitting because it’s a quick visual summary of your post, and doesn’t require me waste my time or energy typing out a response.Worldclass argument. As always.

So Bernardo has played 4 seasons for City? You genuinely believe that’s an accurate sentence? This is Bernardo's 4th season, he has played for City in 4 seasons, and what he said was "1 good season in 4".
He's not wrong at all, on that one. Bernardo was OK in 17/18, world class in 18/19 and has been AWOL ever since.
I think Pep's biggest problem right now, and one which will define our season is getting Bernardo back to 18/19 form in the middle of the pitch next to KDB.

CoolI think if the best you can up with to dispute a guy's point is saying "UH no actually he's not played 4 seasons, he's played 3 seasons and 6 months" then you're struggling.
Mate 20/21 is Bernardo 4th season with City, he debut was in the 2017/18 season, but I agree he should get more game time, to recapture his form..So Bernardo has played 4 seasons for City? You genuinely believe that’s an accurate sentence?
