No, I didn’t. But to hear Rodders played well in a friendly doesn’t surprise me, that’s the pac he’s suited to

Either way. One or the other, I’m not too fussed which one - my general point being that we need players that are proactive and can run(quickly)
By the way, I totally agree with the rest of your team ;)

Fair enough! Happy to concede I got that wrong.
No need, it’s what the media feed people so why think anything other.

The area we are lacking is actually in attack, for obvious reasons. This season we’ve scored 17 over that 9 game period whereas we had 30 the season before.

I’m going 1-0 Saturday, Torres with the goal. Close result but a comfortable win.

Interesting take regarding our defence. Since the 5-2 against Leicester we’ve played 9 games and only conceded 4 goals, only 1 goal in the last 4 which, for me, was never a penalty.
Neither were all 3 Leicester pens, Initiated contact/dives have cost us in 2 home games,4 points and 4 Goals against.

Anyone that writes City off in this match is deluding themselves.

Could be a fairly high scoring game. Both teams have better attacks than defence.

Got a feeling we (Spurs) will nick it but my predictions are generally terrible.
Our defence is the only area of our team that is inspiring confidence this season, so you can’t have watched us recently. We create very little. And what little we do create, we tend to spurn. I see a low-scoring game personally. We haven’t scored more than 1 goal in a league game since September.

Agree to the second part of this as rodri needs help but please dont say hes a flat track bully. The guy oozes class put a engine type player young fern next to him and midfield is set for years.

Not sure if that will be the starting 11, but that is the team I would go with. Even if Sterling is fit I would put him on the subs bench as his form is not the best at the moment.

100 times this. Even looking at that side excites me.

Hard to argue with that. Sadly I don’t think that’s the team we’ll see though. Anyway, just glad that the international break is over now and no more games until March. This is where the season really gets going.

Quite evident to most that when we play Gundo and Rodri there is a lack of mobility/pace. Rodders needs a midfield partner who will provide energy and Bernardo will give you that at the very least.

You’re preaching to the converted here mate.

I don't know about everyone else but I can't help but think this game is a must win even this early in the season. I know we have a game in hand but we can't let the gap to the top start to get too big. Also as we've all seen this squad loves to make winning a habit.

According to one bright spark in the media Spuds will beat a "declining" Manchester City , one defeat in 12 and unbeaten in 9 games , and with Kun , Jesus and Dinho on the way back just hope our decline ends soon
