While I agree. It's a pointless Blount. I similarly don't understand why anyone gets bothered by it. Good teams cost money. Is like saying water is wet. its a dumb point to state, but it's equally strange to be bothered that's it's stated.

Agree but it’s the fact that it’s such obvious bias that grates.

The rags were on BT & Chelsea on Sky yesterday and I would imagine the cost of their respective line-ups and benches would run ours close. They were also playing squads who would’ve cost much less than theirs’ or Spurs! However, never mentioned. I would be amazed if they ever did something like that for any of the red tops.
