They’re fifth in the best league in world football, they’re nowhere near shite.

Plus that stadium is a proper bogey stadium for us and we’ve got Walker and Akanji at centre back.

And we’re Manchester City, a team who still to this day do things nobody can understand in what is known as ‘Typical City’ (it’ll never leave us), with a fanbase who have decades of experience of it all.

I have to admit, the support your fans gave City in the decades of mediocrity, was admirable. Hard to think back then of a more loyal fan base.

No height at the back against a world class centre Forward in Kane. Don’t get it but he knows best I suppose. If he gets it wrong then he must accept the huge criticism from the supporters. On a positive note there is plenty of energy in that team so we will all wait

Haven't watched any of the build up - what formation is that? Looking at the line up on flashscore and can't get my head around it. Is Bernie in the Gundogan role and is Grealish central?

Well I'm looking forward to the pace of Haaland and Julian doing them on the counter
My guess is , Alvarez will cause havoc if he gets the free roaming order from pep. Haaland, jack and mahrez will be tightly marked on their perspective position and alvarez will be hard to mark if he get the permission .

we are playing without fullbacks or wingbacks. new invention this season by pep lol. can see what he is thinking. trying to bring energy and dynamism to the team. essentially he wants both walker and rico to play on the right side without sacrificing a attacker. walker, ake will act as CB and FB when necessary and Rodri likewise will act as DM and CB when required.

Some real mard arsed fuckers on here, Pep has picked what he believes to be the right side for the match today. Personally I am loving having Alverez and Haaland starting together, Mahrez and Grealish have been our best wide pairing in recent weeks so good to have them there as well.

For what it's worth I think Pep is trying to reinvent a back three formation with Lewis dropping back when needed, on the attack he gives us the extra midfielder. Very interested to see how this pans out today.

Lewis will play the inverted defensive striker, Walker quarterback, Akanji the second rower and Ake the back 4.

I think it will go like that any.

Pep, you mad, crazy bastard.
Who will be scrum half?!

Quite a few games in the old division 3 were ticket only and a sell out. Me and my mate had to borrow his dad's wheelchair and my mate sat in it while I pushed him in. We did that about half a dozen times till we got sussed: )
