Everyone and their mother knows Dias and Laporte are better in almost every way compared to Ake and Akanji. It's clear that there's been a lot going on behind the scenes if Pep prefers them in a big game like this.

Dias can't push up like Akanji or Ake does. He's uncomfortable with it.

Can anyone explain why our best defender Ruben dias can't get a game?

He’s coming back from an injury where he had a slight set back after coming on for fifteen minutes a few weeks ago.

Dias and Laporte famously always play brilliantly against Kane and Son.

Walker in CB against Kane worries me. He’s clever up top rather than fast or strong, Walker’s weakness.

Walker does have a tendency to allow people to run off the back of him & get a header in, hopefully Kane plods about in midfield
