One of the Palace players who played in their 3-3 draw against Liverpool in 2014 said after the match that they were as motivated for that match as any he’d played in. They had nothing at stake and didn’t care whether city or Liverpool won the league but they just wanted to be remembered for their part in the title race. Footballers are just natural party poopersit was my point is Everton didn't rollover for us and their fans didn't cheer our goals, they were probably delighted at the end having lost and their team had a right go
