Can we play a team of defenders with one up top?
Doesn't matter, until the end of the season.we realy need to get something in this,if results go against us tonight we could be 7th
I’d prefer that ideally as well but for some reason Doku especially always seems to play better on the left.Wingers on favoured foot for crossing.
In the minority, but I'd quite like to see Jack again - he's shown he still has a killer pass in him.Can see pep playing with the slowest players we have again against the high line of spurs since he is overthinking again.
Foden - KDB - Grealish
Marmoush.
Wouldn’t surprise me at all.
Echeverri, or Ranieri? :-)
Mehh, we are in the mix whatever happens at Spurs and we have a nice run of games coming up. Fourth will be no problem. Should be aiming for second, reeling the bottlers in .... certainly third.we realy need to get something in this,if results go against us tonight we could be 7th
Id absolutely play Grealish. Helps us keep the ball and retain possession - especially important away from home.In the minority, but I'd quite like to see Jack again - he's shown he still has a killer pass in him.
With Tottenhams ridiculously high line we need pace up top. By pass midfielders again and get marmoush Savi doku into the space. Eddie could get another assist here. 2 change from dippers for me Kdb out silva in Lewis out nunes at right back (for width ala against Chelsea). Gvardiol
And nunes caused Chelsea massive problems with their high line.
They were last week anywayNearly
Pep has no interest in making any changes to win individual games. We saw Doku break forward a few times against Liverpool then remember he’s been coached into slowing down and passing it backwards. Pep’s reliance on “control” means we are far less likely to hit Spurs where they’re vulnerable.we have to let Spurs come forward, we have to. I (think I) understand that we want to play the game far up the pitch but Marmoush, i hope Haaland, and Savinho/Doku look really great threats to a massive space in behind. Sit a little deeper than usual for the opening 20 and try a few balls over the top and see how Spurs cope. If it looks shit then fine, revert to type.
You and your speculating!The
Ederson could be handed a start against Plymouth, Lewis could be handed a start against Plymouth, Gvardiol could be handed a start against Plymouth, Dias could be handed a start against Plymouth.......need any more examples??
Stating the obvious ;) obviously no news to report.
Not true based on the evidence against Newcastle.Pep has no interest in making any changes to win individual games. Yeah the other 30 odd matches this season say otherwise. Not true based on the evidence against Newcastle.
Spuds will press high and their defence will be on the half way line loads of space behind and their defence is shot with injury’s. No bones about it. We need Out balls to the speedy lads up top. Midfielders can mop up anything on 2nd balls (hopefully). Pass pass pass spurs will pick us off when we inevitably give it away and one shot one goal rears its ugly head.we have to let Spurs come forward, we have to. I (think I) understand that we want to play the game far up the pitch but Marmoush, i hope Haaland, and Savinho/Doku look really great threats to a massive space in behind. Only Spurs could do that depending on what Spursy mood they're in.Does anybody actually think we can stop Spurs from scoring?
