Managers asking for a top atmosphere never sits right with me! Champs league games dont seem to get that liverpool at home atmosphere especially with the prices we set! £50 is far to high £30 is about right.
There will be plenty of fans there, and the cost of the ticket in no way prevents those present from making a noise. He’s just asking for more passion. Less waiting for entertainment and more baying for blood.

It is the eve of the big match and the fans are getting grief from Pep, Stones and Talksport. A peanut could work out that the problem is the clowns who set the ticket prices at the Etihad. They are clearly overpaid and totally out of touch with reality. Thousands of passionate locals would love to watch this amazing team in the stadium but have long since been priced out. The club is swimming in money, yet they seem determined to bleed the last penny out of us

I hope Pep keeps cool and won't go gung-ho, just our normal 4-3-3.
The squads needs the coolest and most confident side of Pep now.

We have to manage the game well, for 90 mins, not like last year.

1st leg spurs were killing our build-up. We will addres that and be much quicker to put up pressure on them.
I hope Gundogan will start, he is on a better form than Dinho, like it or not.
He is always turning up in big matches and together with KDBs good form they could bring the match to our forwards.

Pep begging for support makes him weak, he shouldn't do that. He can't change the complex fan situation at this point.
Of course anyone will be behind the team, no doubt.
Atmosphere will rise in that moment - or not. You cannot plan it.

If the Etihad feels it has to be there, it will definetely be there and can be louder than many other grounds.

Pep isn't asking people who can't afford to come to come regardless. He's just asking those who do come to be up for it, which all too often we aren't in this competition. Don't think it's unreasonable.
I would prefer he say he understands because of past treatment of fans in this competition but he would like us to get behind them now and help us win it,he never ever has the fans backs and i'm sure he knows why the fans boo the jingle

Has to be Sterling on the right and Leroy on the left. We look very poor going forward without those two on their preferred wings.

Ederson
Walker
Stones
Laporte
Mendy
Gundogan
De Bruyne
Bernardo
Sterling
Aguero
Sané

If you can afford 30, nine times out of 10, you can afford 50.

If you're so skint that you can't keep the lights on, don't bother. But any city fan that can make it to the stadium should suck it up and get a ticket.

I'm going but for most its not just £50 is it. For most its £50 a ticket with at least £20 on top,travel/parking etc. For those can afford £50, 9 times out of 10 then they can afford £70 right?

The basic logic applies, if people can afford it they go, if not they don't simple as that.

As it’s a sell out (or will be), do you sing less if you pay £20 more? Asking for a friend.

Absolute rubbish. Our prices are generally lower than other top 6 clubs.

I got the impression that he would be available for selection tbh, but guess we’ll find out tomorrow!

Unless Fernandhino is 100% fit then it would be better to leave him until Saturday. Pep will probably want to make 2 or 3 changes on Saturday, because we can do to refresh the team without losing quality whereas Spurs can't.

I know we need to play our "strongest team" tomorrow, but if players aren't fully fit then it isn't our strongest team.

But he’s right. How long do we hold a grudge. Time to get one over UEFA by winning the competition (which they really don’t want). We need to now stop booing & support our superb players.

If you add up all the attacks on the club and fans then never, booing for 30 secs at the start is not going to effect the team, vinny came out in support of the fans booing some time ago,the team get it,pep is trying to force his love of the competition onto fans who are sick of being shafted in games that they pay a lot of money to travel round and watch, the last being the dipper games only 12 mths ago, they are a corrupt organisation and should never stop being challenged, pep is used to being at clubs who don't get shafted,he doesn't get it really
Now if i was there i would boo then sing them on even though i don't like the competition

We've supported our players plenty of times in this competition and it's actually possible to boo the anthem yet back the team to the hilt. It's not just one or the other - it can easily be both, unless people are incapable of multi-tasking. I wouldn't mind but the booing of the anthem happens before kick-off so I'm not sure why any fucker would be arsed

I always get behind the team even when the majority around me cant be arsed! Dont know money wise if cheap tickets gets a better atmosphere it would be an interesting experiment think it would make no difference.

Just a quickie - I ordered a ticket for a mate yesterday and selected the print at home option. The e-mail confirmation said the print at home ticket would be sent in a separate e-mail which I've not received so far. Is this normal and when can I expect to get the e-mail? About one minute before kick-off?

But I agree with Pep. I go to all the games & frankly, I now find the booing - & poor support - embarrassing

Personally I feel that continously booing the anthem is pathetic and detrimental to the team.

I think when Pep leaves this club it will be one of the things that sticks with him.

Liverpool supporters talk about the great European nights and in fairness there's usually a big atmosphere for their nights.
When you think of City in Europe I think of the booing.

I think it puts City as a whole in a bad light and we need to get over ourselves.
