Watching All or Nothing to get in the mood. Unfortunately am at the Rags and Scouse losses which is not good. The bad refereeing in those games though, little snide decisions, convinced it's deliberate. Let's hope that the same is not true tomorrow. Have to watch the last episode now to cheer myself up. Come on you blues!!

Booing the anthem is shooting ourselves in the foot and expecting it not to hurt. The two trophies everyone wants to win are the Premiership and the Champions League and we want to handicap ourselves before we even kick off. Silly in the extreme. Another point, stop all the anti United chants, it's becoming a bit pathetic and drippy. We are City fans, let's support City and f*ck everyone else (UEFA and United included).

Pep:

"The players are human beings. They will have bad moments in the games and, at that moment, we need our supporters.
At this stage, without supporters, we cannot go through."

SUPPORT THE BLUES, LOUD AND PROUD. WE CAN DO THIS.

As i said before we got to a semi final and get through the groups ok and the booing was worse then,it's a red herring

If we had played our normal game and been confident in our ability to win we would at least have an away goal
If Sergio had scored a penalty, we would have an away goal. At least.
Now we have an opportunity to make amends.
I hope we do it.
I really hope we do it.
Big time.

This will be where the officials step in to make sure we progress no further, we will never be allowed to win this competition

I watched that episode last week with the youngest This!

Watching those decisions again made my blood boil. I only just stopped myself throwing the TV out of the window, chasing it outside with a stick and (of course) setting the bastard on fire...

While I'm getting a few things off my chest. Empty seats, does it matter or not? My opinion is that if someone says an event is enormously important but when you watch and you see empty seats and people leaving early then you tend to think it is bullshit. We all complain that the media gives us short shrift but if the City fans ourselves cannot be bothered then it's a difficult sell to tell everyone else that this or that match is really important. Bottom line for me is that Pep is right, we need to take a long hard look at ourselves and raise our bloody game because quite frankly we are the weakest link.

Pep didn't say anything of the sort. Media raised the issue. He said he wanted City fans to support the side.

City's fans the weakest link? Our support is beyond reproach

Bollocks.

Let's bring the Poznan back to show disrespect to the anthem, just like we did when rag team was read out all them years ago

Excellent idea if we turn our backs en masse , but will the TV camera's highlight our protest ? , When they go to Klanfield they have a minutes silence (i think they have one every week for something or another) so everyone can admire that well known Celtic song YNWA , and their camera's scan the ugly scouse crowd. But at least we know if we booo the anthem it will be heard on the TV ,so i will be booing , that's my choice and if other supporters do not want to , that's also fine with me , you pay your money and you make your choice.

I'm sorry Karen but that is rubbish. We all need to get behind the team and not create a negative atmosphere from the off. I think Bayern Munich get it right, pick an issue, buy a massive flag, put the point on the flag and get on with it. All this booing is pretty much playing into the oppositions hand. Give it a good dose of thought and be brave enough to change your mind for the greater good.

You can't rely on getting and scoring a pen,we went defensive and that is not us,it was a mistake imo, let's hope we can put it right,it would be stupid to go out to an english team that we have the beating off in the prem because we changed our game

So we didn't do anything i just said when the booing was much worse? it hasn't put the players off,pep might not like it but he won't change it by moaning, understanding and saying he does and it's time to stop would get him further i think
