We were fantastic going forward but defensively we were a shambles and once again Pep got it completely wrong in an aaay CL tie.

The defenders we have are not CL elite level. The midfield is far too porous at times and we've squandered a great chance of winning this competition.

His handling error at the corner indirectly led to the Lorente goal as well.

Yep, he is the best gk with his feet probably ,but he isn´t anywhere near the best goalkeeper overall.You want your goalkeeper to be able to pass the ball with Peps tactics ,but first of all ,he should be a very good shot stopper.I think his positioning is to blame for most of the goals he should have saved ,not that he has no reflexes or something.We need to improve our back line if we want to make it to the finals one day.

Totally fucking robbed. An amazing piece of footballing theatre ruined by two ridiculous VAR decisions. It's why I will never truly give a shit about this competition, from it being openly rigged for TV viewer numbers to the utterly bizarre refereeing and now VAR which is aparently just another sham that doesn't do it's job. A team that hasn't won a league title in 50 years potentially winning the "Champions" league is a hilarious thought tbh. Fuck the snide diving and fouling ****s, they're welcome to it as far as I'm concerned. The league is everything and they'll never get a sniff of it because they lack any form of backbone. I do hope they go on to win it now, knowing how they got through and that they'll never win the PL would quite neatly expose the competition for what it is, a money grabbing exercise and nothing more.

Yes tonight is a sickener but no issues with VAR it will improve with time.
