Aaah but was it the fans half time analysis of the situation or Pep’s that motivated the players?Pep gave briliant interview. We as fans need to support our team thro tough times. No booing next time pls

And in 17 days as well!!Not again, we play them again in 11 days;)
Yes, I think you may have something there. His biggest fear is complacency, just because you have won 4 out of 5 titles doesn’t mean you can win the next with less effort, in fact it takes even MORE effort.
I still think, from what I heard from folk at the game, that they were booing the officials rather than the team. Maybe Pep, much as I love him, should have been calling out the officials? It’s about time someone at the club called them out. What right do we have to boo after what he and this team have given us. You act like ur owed a win every week.
I think you're right, it's interesting who he started tonight, quite a few of them don't have lots of trophies, compared to those he left on the bench.Maybe i am misinterpreting what Pep is saying......,i dont know.
Those players second half definitely show they had Passion and Guts.
Is he directing it more at the Likes of KDB/Foden ?
Last few weeks he has been alluding to one or two big players having attitude problems.
Obviously he can not name names. So has to do the criticizing collectively at the team
To much wet fanny boss, I'm fucked.
The press will do that for sure, on that we agreeHe’s probably thinking that the city fans are not worth the effort. Only on board when the team is winning - not when the team need them. The press will hammer the fans yet most of us are sound.
He literally said he wants his fans backThought Pep's comments after the match weren't about 'having the fans back' because of the fans. More about the loss of fire from the team - which he said was his job.
All clear nommatter how slu sports want to try and twist it as a criticism 9f the fans.cunts.
I find it hard to believe that they would take it on themselves to play like that. Difference in tempo between the two halves was like night and day.Surely that would suggest it’s the players that are doing it then rather than him? He’s wanting us to get on their backs when they’re not and fire them up as much as he wants them to be.
I’m sorry I disagree it’s obviously a big issue that I can’t deny but around me in the kippax it’s the same faces every week and if the same faces that sing and those who don’t and it’ll be the same in every block around the ground. A few match day tourists isn’t what’s killing the atmosphere it’s a gross sense of entitlement that’s creeping in- we support the team regardless of whether we are 1-0 up or not. Too often fans are waiting for us to start winning before getting behind the team now and even worse if god forbid we go behind!might be a better atmosphere if the club didn’t keep pricing us local fans out of tickets.
Our formation constantly changed last season. Most of the games it was like a 4-4-2, but it changed throughout the game. The “2” were the floaters, but I don’t think Pep has confidence in Haaland to do that so there’s going to me some changes during the course of the season. Cancelo is also out form, so who do you want to play left back?Play 4-3-3 with FBs supporting the winger. Keep a reasonably settled team (especially back 4) instead of constantly chopping and changing.
And that it's his job to make it happen - as he's noticed the fire go from the team.He literally said he wants his fans back
I mean he said "I want my fans back". Lots of wiggle room in that!He literally said he wants his fans back
I'm sure Pep mentioned it to the players as a way of motivation.Aaah but was it the fans half time analysis of the situation or Pep’s that motivated the players?
Rico Lewis should start the big games. Better all round performance than the senior players.
