Spurs (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

I'd have taken three/four points off top by the time Kev is back but we have to be perfect now and we look like Chelsea

This team has now lost the lead 6 times in 3 games against big6 opposition in Chelsea, Liverpool & Spurs. We used to have an elite mentality, this season its missing completely. Another shambolic performance like almost every other time we've faced any half decent opposition this season.

And yes, the ref was absolutely awful but lets not turn into the scousers and act like victims at every opportunity. We should be able to beat fucking Spurs, with major injury/suspension problems, at home even if the ref is awful.

Pep will figure it out, he always does. But unfortunately our very poor summer window has undoubtedly made our squad significantly worse.

Club trying to be too cute and clever with the squad.

We simply haven't improved with Gundo and Mahrez leaving and the incomings not great so far.

We needed a Rodri replacement to help him and they failed with that.

The Nunes transfer was bizarre. A Phillips type signing.

It's because our first target like Bellingham doesn't want to join City and joining Real Madrid instead.

It's not largely blame on management when something like case above happens for various reasons our first target doesn't want to join us.

Doku and alvarez hit the woodwork, it didn't go in. They hit the woodwork twice, both went in. Any other day, Ederson saves their first. Any other day, Haaland scores his two.

Our defence is complacent. Our midfield isn't particularly in control. Pep is a bit meh. The refereeing continues to cost us.

But ultimately, we have had some basic bad luck and with just a touch more we win at least 2 of the last 3.
