Was once said that 1 man did not make a team think that adage has been well and truly trashed.
He was a curate's egg of a player. Movement? - great, workrate? - excellent, instinctive finishing? - very good, considered finishing? - poor, one on ones? - poor.Consistently poor? Fuck sake man.
SAME AGAIN LANDLORD, HIC !!Love this forum. Absolute wet lettuces who know nothing other than being spoilt
For the empty heads, this is football. Sometimes you go through a major slump, the same ones you all enjoy other clubs’ demise when they’re going through it.
We WILL be champions come May.
And then you can all take your faces for a massive dump an apologise.
You named the first 3 players that need to be sat...Its football, everything can happen. But what makes me sad is our genius pep repeats the same mistake. Why play Gundo, lewis and walker. Everyone sees they are not good enough. We can play akanji right back and ake as left to sort this problem.
Our midfield is that lightweight I'd happily have Ousmane Dabo back playing alongside Gelson Fernandes.Softest, shittest midfield ever (since dark ages) yesterday. Pure pain watching that
Pep doesn’t trust him because he loses the ball too much. Does a few things great, but then doesn’t release the ball, loses it and the opposition is off to the races with us committed forward.Have to agree with O'Reilly, I genuinely thought he was going to start yesterday with Kovacic being missing too.
He's the only midfielder we have now that has a bit of presence and physicality about him. Hopefully he starts Tuesday night.
Time will tell, but it’s November and there is a lot that can and will happen before the season gets to its climax.SAME AGAIN LANDLORD, HIC !!
We constantly give the ball away as it is these days and from players that we don't normally expect the likes of Bernie in particular. The fact of the matter is that O'Reilly can do no worse than what we already have been doing.Pep doesn’t trust him because he loses the ball too much. Two men - we survived with Kovacic for a while then we got Central defensive injuries and our opponents worked out that pressing Lewis paid dividends and now Kovacic is injured. Was once said that 1 man did not make a team think that adage has been well and truly trashed.
What so he can set more goals up for the oppositionMaybe try Grealish in the middle.

Start? He didn't even come on...Nunes has been one of our better players over the past few games, why he didn't start in midfield ?
i admire your faith but Pep's strategy pretty much hangs on having an effective defensive midfielder and with Rodri crocked I just cannot see who can step into that role. If Stones could stay fit he would be my pick but if he plays 50% of the remaining games I will be surprised. We could buy someone in January but it is a big ask for anyone to hit the ground running - Rodri certainly didn't.Time will tell, but it’s November and there is a lot that can and will happen before the season gets to its climax.
Liverpool will slump. We will snap out of it and do what we have done time and time again and go on a winning streak.
