Consistently poor? Fuck sake man.

He was a curate's egg of a player. Movement? - great, workrate? - excellent, instinctive finishing? - very good, considered finishing? - poor, one on ones? - poor.

It was very easy to focus on his weaknesses instead of seeing his strengths especially when he was playing with Silva's, KdB, Mahrez etc.

I think he will be appreciated more as time goes by.

Its football, everything can happen. But what makes me sad is our genius pep repeats the same mistake. Why play Gundo, lewis and walker. Everyone sees they are not good enough. We can play akanji right back and ake as left to sort this problem.

Our midfield is that lightweight I'd happily have Ousmane Dabo back playing alongside Gelson Fernandes.

Have to agree with O'Reilly, I genuinely thought he was going to start yesterday with Kovacic being missing too.

He's the only midfielder we have now that has a bit of presence and physicality about him. Hopefully he starts Tuesday night.

Pep doesn’t trust him because he loses the ball too much. Does a few things great, but then doesn’t release the ball, loses it and the opposition is off to the races with us committed forward.
