Spurs (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

A genuine possibility to replace Gundogan in midfield with Pannick.
From a football point of view maybe not.
From a legal point of view maybe the PL stifled ourr need to rebuild by stopping a sponsorship deal and making purchasing players a lottery.
If 115 found to be a PL disaster as expected we have compensation claims in abundance.
We are City and will return, Lord Pannick will get us the funds to rebuild.

Fuck them
They need more than 5 games lost to catch up with the comedy gold the pair of them have served up for us for the last 12 years.

One title won between the pair of them in 12 years. Feast your fucking eyes on that.
A chastening experience, takes me back to the early eighties but I'm confident we won't follow the same path again. Pep has a huge job on his hands to get us back on track, starting on Tuesday so a more few positive vibes from us wouldn't go amiss.

Spurs were excellent from taking the lead. Miles better
Hate to say it but Spurs came with a game plan and executed it.
They knew if they made the pitch wide we'd suffer because we didn't have the legs.
Yes a couple of fuck ups on our part but they looked fitter, faster and wanted it more.
And I fuckin hate Tottenham but they did a job on us.

Every 50/50 we lost, showed zero strength in the fullback position, showed a lack of ability to finish, didn’t fight for the shirt, captain is a joke, substitutions are slow and not reactive.
Injuries play there part for sure but why are some thrown straight in and the likes of kev are constantly looked past.
Rico is been used in the opposite to what foden was, and it shows.
Really is looking grim when this forum knows rodri needed cover, we have one forward, we have no full backs of quality and the highest paid management can’t see the blatantly obvious
There are none so blind as those who will not see.

Too many heads in the sand for the last couple of seasons. We've been very lax in succession planning. The writing has been on the wall for the likes of Walker, De Bruyne, and Bernardo for ages. Gundogan left at the right time and was persuaded to come back... it hasn't worked out.
We've needed a left back for years and back-ups for Haaland, Stones and Rodri should have been priorities.
Doku and Savinho are huge downgrades on Mahrez and Cole Palmer. Nunes is simply not good enough at top level.

No wonder Txiki has chucked it in. Flogging Palmer, Delap and Harwood-Bellis (all of whom would have stayed if they actually felt wanted) was just daft.
