Spurs (H) Post Match Thread

can we just start to image what damage we could do when we are able to use a constantly 1st choice team Ederson - Stones - Otamendi - Mendy - Walker - Dino - Silva - KDB - Sane - Stirling - Aguero ----------and then have back up and rotation with the likes of Jesus - Iklay - Bernardo - Delph - Foden - Danilo - Kompany and continue to bring through some of the other young guns. Add Sanchez and another defender in the next window and then continue to teach them this way of playing would take all other english clubs years and years to catch up. Can genuinely see is winning 3-4 titles in a row along with a scattering of double and trebles.
What is really interesting is that Pep has shown that providing one has enough of a core selection of world class players, it is possible, given a run, that the likes of Delph and even Mangala are able to really buy into and perform at the same level. Then we bring in the likes of Kyle who Spurs claim that they were happy to let go coz he was apparently only ever average, a poor crosser and at the peak of his ability - put him into this team and way of playing - and show what he is really capable of.
Drink it in everyone - this is not once in a generational opportunity - it is once in a lifetime. Give Pep a £50m a year contract for the next 10 years !

it doesnt even seem real. after all those years of growing up never beating united or tottenham or winning anything we get to see some of the best football ever. its like a dream come true

They tried to play us at our own game but lacked an Ederson and a midfield! Dele Alli will be a liability at the World Cup if his antics today were anything to go by. He should have been sent off.

It’s difficult to come up with new or original ways to applaud the team this season. Simply magnificent, all of them. KDB is surely up there with Messi, Neymar and Bale (Ronaldo is past it despite winning the Balon d’or). Name a better player right now.... he would walk into a world XI.

I honestly thought they tested us for a couple of 20 minute periods in each half but despite amassing about 43% possession, much of this was in their defensive third of the field. We pressed brilliantly and proved that there is no way to set up against us. At least they didn’t park the bus like Mourinho (at HOME!)

We must be nailed on for the title and Rio Ferdinand was, I am shocked to say, gracious and respectful of this team.

Well done lads!

I am having obsession issues about winning 16 ( count 'em!) prem games on the run. OMFG.

We got lucky ... still not sure how we’ll cope when we come up against a team that presses us and tests our defence.
I think we coped very well! They did try pressing us but were not up to the task in midfield. Ederson’s ability to ping 40 yard balls so accurately was a huge plus today.

It's been said multiple times before

Kane and Dele Alli should both have gotten straight reds. Dembele was 4 fouls on from when he should have gotten a yellow. Pawson was shocking and ignored 1 absolute penalty and 1 probable.

We should have scored 6 or 7 but 4 will do. Their goal came from a handball and should have been stopped, but we'll suck up a bit of complacency in a match we've already won.

This is the best football ever seen in the UK and the only team I can compare it to is Guardiola's Barcelona 08-12.

Where does football go from here?

Come on then you bellends in the media, when’s our next big test? Who’s going to beat us next?

****s, we’ll keep marching. This squad are better than the invincibles - they can shove their 12 draws up their arse.

Get in there lads!
That clueless c*nt Simon Stone apart,They’re all having to acknowledge us now, albeit through bile filled gritted teeth, in order not to look like the bitter KFA’s they clearly are

~~~~~~~~~~~
"WAKE UP!"
"WAKE UP!"
"CITY ARE PLAYING GRIMSBY AWAY TOMORROW......AND THEY BEAT US 3-0 AT MAINE ROAD.....
IT'S ALL A DREAM....WAKE UP!!!!"
Honestly, I expected more from spurs. Our focus today laser fine. I expect Dave’s absence
motivated the team, and hope all is well with him. Astonishing this team, impeccable today. Spurs were fortunate to not take home a more severe hiding. All played well today, but Kev was possessed. It looked like a personal score being settled, and his “21” was poetic. This team hasn’t peaked, I really don’t think they have yet
isn't it about time you nailed your dipper colours to the mast and be done with it,have us as your 2nd team if you like
I’m as big a blue as anyone, you can ask Ric if you like. It’s pretty sad how you can’t wait for me to make any reference to Liverpool or their players for you to have a little dig again.
Fantastic display once again. We truly are a wonderful side full of exciting talents.
We never looked in trouble and apart from the first ten minutes or so of the second half, we dominated the game and Spurs.
When I saw that Merlin was missing, I feared the worst, but Ilkay Gündogan isn’t exactly the worst deputy in the world and I thought he had a very good game, especially his header for the first, considering he was one of the smallest players on the pitch.
The other three goals were all brilliant team goals, that split the Spurs' defence open on each occasion. Just fantastic.
The only dampener was Jesus' missed penalty.
Why the fuck were their backwards 80s thinking wankers of fans waving tenners at us? Cockney wankers.
One of the reasons I always hated them.
The irony is that Tottenham, more specifically the Northumberland Park ward is one of the most deprived in the country.
