I agreeVAR checked the Rodri challenge with Lanzini in our box, but surprise surprise not when it’s us that wants a pen. Nobody can arrive at any conclusion other than it’s bent.
So what you're saying is that VAR makes the decision to check . They didn't check Rodri being fouled in the box today . So they are the interpreters . They make the decisions to check. What I'm trying to say is that they are totally sovereign and can decide the outcome of a game.
Now if they check and come to a conclusion that there's no foul do they then say nothing to the ref or must every check be brought to his attention ? just trying to understand the process here. Because if it's brought to his attention then Oliver presumably must go over to TV screen and view it himself .
