Spurs (H) Post Match Thread

Great win and performance, controlled so much of that match and barely gave them a sniff.
Rodri was immense again and Gundo, what can you say about him....the stick he was getting from folk on this forum for so long, class, pure class from Silky Ilky.
Tight at the back again.
Lamala should have been sent off in the 1st half how he wasn't booked for that tackle/lunge is amazing.
Good stuff from Raz in the 2nd half, ran at their full back and had him on toast.
Since the takeover, and since we started challenging for the title, we beat Spurs at home we go on to win the league. Good omen...

I mean, what does 16 wins in a row suggest we are currently?...

Need a gif of that Sanchez 'defending' for Gundos second goal. He put on his best Phil Jones impression. Poor fucker should consider retiring after that, he went down like a sack of potatoes.
Love that saying

Great win and by the end they were out on the ropes. Gundog is just amazing this season and that pass from Ederson for the third. Superbly finished by Ilkay. There's a real team spirit about us this season - no stars or egos - just everyone working hard and for each other. Very strong, very solid, sprinkled with moments of quality.

just how good is this team? - that was all is controlled - so many times Tottenham looked like they could break on us in the way they have done before and suddenly it was all closed down with Cancelo-Stones-Laporte-Rhodri-Zinchenko all in the right place, making the right tackle/interception. It was such a brilliant team performance - once again the Man of the Match is not clear because it was about all of them working for one another, taking over positions from one another. Foden seemed to have a quiet game - yet his defensive work, his covering, was superb. Sterling just kept stretching the full backs often without any end product but it keeps them nervous. I'm not sure where Gabriel was playing - somewhere across the front line - but Tottenham defenders didn't know where he was either and that just confused them to bits! And all the time Bernardo, Gundogan and Rhodri are controlling the centre and everything springs from there.

On we go - I know this winning run can't continue for ever - but hard to see where it might end.
